About

Namita Chakma is Professor at the Department of Geography, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. She has co-authored two books of national and international repute and published a good number of research papers in reputed national and international journals. Her research interest includes urban and regional development, climate change and its impact study, agricultural sustainability, and population study.
