About
Dr. T. Veerakumar received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2004 from the RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, Tamilnadu, and the M.E. degree in Applied Electronics in 2006 from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2013.
He has more than 18 years of experience in teaching & research and has been associated with sponsored projects funded by DST. He is currently guiding research scholars in the field of biomedical image processing, moving object detection and tracking. He has published more than 50 papers in international/national journals and conferences. His area of interests includes Image Denoising, Image Compression, Video Compression, Medical Image Analysis and Moving Object Detection and Tracking.
