About
Sajid Anwar is a graduate of two Canadian universities. He holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a master's degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. With extensive teaching experience, Sajid joined the University of the Sunshine Coast after holding full-time appointments at various institutions. These include the Northern Territory University (now Charles Darwin University), University of Canberra, Charles Sturt University, James Cook University, University of Adelaide, and University of South Australia. Additionally, he has had short-term appointments at the University of Waterloo (Canada, 1992) and the University of Macau (2002). Notably, Sajid received the Postgraduate Lecturer of the Year Award in 1997, 2000, and 2006. His contributions also extend to publishing over 150 papers in international refereed journals. Furthermore, he has successfully supervised more than a dozen doctoral candidates to completion and has served as a reviewer for numerous journals.
