Dr. Sreenath Reddy Thummaluru

About

Sreenath Reddy Thummaluru was born in Pulivendula, India, in 1993. He received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Pulivendula, in 2014, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in RF & microwave engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He received Raman-Charpak fellowship 2019-20 and carried out the part of his Ph.D. work in Pierre and Marie Curie Campus, Sorbonne University, Paris, France for six months. He is also an IOE-IISc postdoctoral research fellow at the ECE Department of IISc Bangalore from Nov. 2021 to Feb. 2022. Dr. Sreenath is an URSI-InRaSS Young Indian Radio Scientist awardee in 2019 URSI Asia–Pacific Radio Science (URSI, AP-RASC 2019) Conference, where he is also shortlisted for URSI Student Paper Competition. He also received URSI Young Scientist Award in URSI GASS 2021, held in Rome, Italy. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at ATMS Conference, Hyderabad, India, in 2017. He served as the Chair for the IEEE Student Branch, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India from June 2019 to June 2021. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of ECE, IIITDM Kancheepuram.
