About

I am a researcher and academician, currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, Adamas University, Kolkata, India with previous experience of working at the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS), Nagpur; Krea University, Andhra Pradesh; Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), New Delhi; the Space Applications Centre (SAC), the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Ahmedabad; and the Gujarat Environment Management Institute (GEMI), Gandhinagar. I am also associated with the journal Next Research as Scientific Editor. My research work involves extensive use of satellite images, GIS techniques, and ground based surveys for understanding the problems related to climate change, coastal zone management, air pollution impact assessment, sustainable and disaster-resilient development in the Himalayan region and the spatio-temporal and meteorological dimensions of vector-borne diseases and urban heat islands.
