About
My primary research interest is in the area of Wastewater Treatment using a catalyst. New generations of wastewater treatment systems, aided by the global presence of efficient instruments and technology, are playing an increasingly important role in society. The failure of wastewater treatment systems can have severe underpinnings in the modern world. A plethora of techniques are available today, such as Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), Reverse Osmosis (RO), UV treatment, etc., such diversity in affluent types as well as treatment techniques are making the creation of an ideal, integrated system very challenging.
The research agenda as a doctoral fellow was to investigate the ways to synthesis an efficient catalyst and robust applications in synthetic as well as industrial wastewater. Part of my doctoral research was funded by Delhi Science and Technology-Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB), while I was working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at National Institute of Technology, Raipur (India).
