About
Shivashankar Girish Kumar a native from Karnataka State (Kolar District, Malur Taluk) has obtained his Ph.D (2012) from Department of Chemistry, Bangalore University and carried out his post-doctoral studies (2012-2015) at Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His research interests spans the area of materials chemistry including photocatalysis, photoluminescence and phase transition among titania polymorphs. At present, he is serving as Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, RV College of Engineering. Being an active member in the reviewer panel, RSC Advances, and Associate Editor for the journal ‘Chemical Papers, SPRINGER’, and 'Applied Surface Science Advances, ELSEVIER', he has reviewed more than 2100 research articles across the spectrum of international journals.
