He is currently serving as an Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously, he was associated with the Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), MAHE Bengaluru Campus, Karnataka, and also worked as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kurnool-an Institute of National Importance established by the Government of India.
He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, an autonomous university established by the Government of Gujarat. With over 13 years of academic & administrative experience across several prestigious institutions in India, Dr. Bandhu has developed expertise in advanced welding techniques, WAAM, and materials characterization, contributing significantly to these fields through his research and publications.
His core research interests include Process–Structure–Property Relationships, Heat Treatment, Surface Analysis, Machining Performance Optimization, and Taguchi Method-based Analysis. To date, he has published more than 100 research papers indexed in Web of Science and Scopus in reputed international journals and conferences. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for several well-recognized peer-reviewed international journals and conferences.
