Introduction
Dr. John Mukhopadhaya, is a leading Orthopedic surgeon in the country. He has over 35 years of expertise in the field. He is the Director of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement at Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna. He is the Chairman of Orthopaedics Research and Education Foundation, India. He is Former president of Bihar Orthopaedics Association, Former Educational Officer and Research Officer, AOTrauma India.
He was faculty at various international courses and meetings. Over the last years he has participated as Faculty in Various National and International courses to train surgeons through didactic & soft skill demonstrations, cadaveric workshops and live surgical relays. Many young surgeons have been trained under him for trauma and arthroplasty. He travels across the country and in international locations and demonstrates surgical techniques to upcoming Surgeons at various platforms.
He is actively involved with the AO Trauma and is a constant faculty and also represented Indian Orthopaedic Association Trauma Committee. He Received many Orations Award for Outstanding Contribution in Orthopaedics like Dr P.K. Duraiswamy Oration award (IOA), Dr Talwalkar Oration Award (IOA), Oration in Jharkhand Orthopaedics Association (JOA), Oration in Karnataka Orthopaedics Association (KOA), Silvoscon Oration in Vidharbha Orthopaedics Society (VOS). He was Presidential Guest Speaker in European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, Brussels, Belgium (2005).

He has represented Indian Orthopaedic Association as a Guest Nation at German Congress of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Conference, DKOU 2021 being held at Berlin, 26-29 oct 2021. Awarded in International reception of German Congress for Exceptional Excellence in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, DKOU 2021, was held on rooftop of German Parliament, Berlin.
