Akash Dandapat, Ph.D., is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Dukhulal Nibaran Chandra College. He was awarded Gold medal in B.Sc. in Economics as well as M.Sc. in Economics for securing 1st position. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) five times and also State Eligibility Test (SET). He has received M.Phil. degree in Economics from Department of Economics, Vidyasagar University. He had work as Junior research Fellow (JRF) at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur). Also, he was ICSSR Doctoral Fellow at Department of Economics, Vidyasagar University. He has deep research interest in unorganised sector and informal labour market. He has published papers in reputed journals of Elsevier, Springer and presented some papers in national as well as international conferences.
