About
I obtained my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, Jalpaiguri in the year 2013. Thereafter, I obtained Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization – Machine Design) from IIEST Shibpur in the year 2015.
Subsequently, I joined the Ph.D. Program in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur in 2015 as a regular scholar. I was associated with the Systems, Dynamics and Control Laboratory of the department. My doctoral supervisors were Prof. Arun Kumar Samantaray and Prof. Ranjan Bhattacharyya and my thesis title is - "Sommerfeld effect in motor-driven machines and mechanisms".
My research areas of interest include Vibrations, Nonlinear Dynamics, Sommerfeld effect, and Synchronization theory
