About

Dr. SAURABH BIRLA, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Zoology). Dr. Birla has been awarded PhD in 2019 from TMBU, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. At present he is a Faculty in Department of Zoology, BRM College, Munger University, Munger from January 2023 till date. He also worked as Guest Assistant Professor in the department of Zoology at BNM College, Barhiya for a very short period from February 2026 to May 2026. Also he was a formal faculty in Department of Zoology, RD & DJ College, Munger from November 2019 to December 2022. He is also engaged in IGNOU as Academic Counsellor at study centre – 0571, RD & DJ College, Munger from February 2020 till date. At the same time he is working as Director at School of Sciences, Bhabha Mission Academy, Munger, Bihar, India. He is life member of Vigyan Seva Samiti, Munger, Next World Development Society’, Jharkhand, ‘Children Science Congress, Science for Society’, Bihar, India. He has seasonal membership of The Indian Science Congress Association’, Kolkata. He has served as resource person cum counsellor of Children Science Congress, Science for Society, Bihar, India. His major area of interest & research is Endocrinology, Animal Science and Human Population Genetics. He has published various research articles & review papers in national and international journals, presented abstracts in seminars & conferences, contributed three book chapters in edited books and has worked as reviewer & reviewed two papers till date.
