I am presently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. I was awarded with Ph.D. degrees in 2014 from Department of Geography & Applied Geography, University of North Bengal which focused on the impacts of sediment mining on alluvial river of Darjeeling Himalayas.
