Dr. Divya Navamani. J is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). The principal research interests of Dr. Divya Navamani are in the fields of renewable energy and power converters. She has taught courses like sustainable energy, solar photovoltaic systems, and power electronics in renewable energy systems as an elective course to UG, PG, and Ph.D. students at SRMIST for over ten years. She has published 70+ papers in reputed journals including IEEE, IET Electronics, and Elsevier, etc., She has published around 7 papers related to the case study and performance analysis of commissioned rooftop PV plant in SRMIST. She has published three patents in Intellectual property, India related to power converters and a patent granted in the year 2024 for High gain dc-dc converter. She has completed a project funded by The Institution of Engineers (India) R&D Grant-in-aid Scheme titled Energy Harvester Interface for Microbial Fuel Cell. She received a Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence from DST-SERB and the research work based on DC microgrid system is carried out with the mentorship of Dr.K.Boopathi, Director & Division Head, National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE). She has received IEEE best publication award for the year 2021 and 2024 from IEEE Madras section. She is a senior member of IEEE and a fellow member of The Institution of Engineers (India).
