About

I am a researcher based at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) in Kolkata, working at the intersection of machine learning, supramolecular chemistry, and biotechnology to develop "digital-to-biological" feedback loops for advanced therapeutics. My work leverages artificial intelligence, particularly Protein Language Models like ProtBERT, to accelerate the de novo design and high-throughput screening of antimicrobial peptides targeting multidrug-resistant pathogens (such as MRSA) and targeted peptide-drug conjugates for oncology. Complementing this computational discovery, my research involves engineering machine learning-optimized supramolecular hydrogels and automated 3D bioprinting platforms to establish high-fidelity, animal-free organoid models for rapid therapeutic validation. By bridging data-driven in silico design with rigorous experimental translation, I am open to collaborating across clinical and industrial consortia to accelerate the pipeline from molecular concept to validated biological efficacy.
