Currently, he is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College (Autonomous), India. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 refereed journals and 62 conference papers. He received five project grants from external funded organizations. His research interests include the applications of artificial intelligence in electrical, evolutionary and heuristic optimization techniques to power systems, smart grid and electrical vehicles
