About

Dr. Asheesh Kumar received his Ph.D. degree in 2016 from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, India with Prof. Rajnish Kumar (https://che.iitm.ac.in/?page_id=386). He continued his research at the National University of Singapore as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with Prof. Praveen Linga (http://gashydrates.chbe.nus.edu.sg), Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department (2016 to 2018). Recently, he joined the University of Western Australia’s School of Mechanical & Chemical Engineering in August 2018 as a Research Associate (https://research-repository.uwa.edu.au/en/persons/asheesh-kumar) with Prof. Zachary Aman (Acting Director, Centre for Long Subsea Tiebacks). Additionally, He is working as a visiting scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Western Australia. His research interests include gas hydrates, energy recovery, natural gas storage, CO2 capture and storage, CO2 sequestration, and flow assurance. Currently, two of his publications are listed as highly cited papers by essential science indicators of Thomson Reuters. He is a recipient of Best Research Scholars: NCL RF-Keerti Sangoram Memorial Endowment Award for the year 2016 given by National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India.
