About
I am basically a fisheries biologist and working on the marine fisheries of the West Bengal coast, India. My Ph.D. research encompassed the scientific investigation involving the oceanic biogeochemical parameters and traditional knowledge of the fishermen community for developing Hilsa fishery forecast in the Hugli estuary. In addition some of my researches also involved the application of ocean color remote sensing data for fisheries prediction.
