Currently working as Professor in the Department of Chemistry, St.Joseph's University, Bengaluru. Research interest in Chemi resistive sensors, photocatalysis, photoluminescent materials, Nanomaterial synthesis and properties, Powder X-ray and Neutron diffraction, X-ray and Neutron Pair Distribution function analysis, Phase transitions in inorganic materials.
Have completed 4 projects awarded by various agencies such as DST, UGC,BRNS , VGST etc.,Government of India . Recently under my guidance 2 students received some funds awarded by KSCST, Karnataka to work on Control Release Fertilizers. About 44 publications in National and international journals Guided 5 Ph.D students and numerous graduate and undergraduate students. Currently guiding 4 PhD students
