Post graduated and Doctorate in Forestry from IGKV, Raipur (CG). Recipient of Young Scientist Award by The World Academy of Science, Alexandria, Egypt during 2012 and CG Young Scientist Award by CGCOST (2006) and currently working as Professor & Head, Department of Environmental Science, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh. His areas of interests are forest structure, function, carbon sequestration, vegetation analysis and GIS & remote sensing. He has published Peer Reviewed Papers over 51, 04 Books, organized 16 training program, handled 11 externally funded projects, over worth 137 Lakhs, under review: 03 and visited 10 countries for scientific purposes.
I have joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, IGNTU, Amarkantak (MP) on September 07, 2012 and then elevated as Associate Professor in February 22, 2016 and Professor in December 2019, as Head of the Department since November 03, 2017. Since then I have been teaching various courses to UG, PG and PhD students. Along with that, I have been discharging my duty in several departmental, faculty and University level committee and administrative work. I have completed 8 years at IGNTU, Amarkantak (MP) and altogether over 14 years of post-PhD experience.
