With over two decades of experience in legal education, Prof. (Dr.) Namita Vyas Joshi has held various academic, research, and administrative roles at prestigious institutions in India. As the Director & Dean, of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Joshi leads innovative initiatives that foster student-centric education, research, and professional development.

Her research interests span across contemporary legal issues such as AI, geographical indications (GI), intellectual property rights (IPR), space law, waste management, the POSCO Act, women's rights, and cinematography laws. Dr. Joshi's Ph.D. thesis explored 'The Status of Registration of Indian Marriages: A Critical Legal Study'.

Dr. Joshi is a member of esteemed organizations like the Indian Society of Criminology and the South Asian Society of Criminology & Victimology. Her leadership contributions include serving as the Chairperson of the Board of Studies and her role as Coordinator for the Punjab Consumer Advocacy Group. She has organized several national seminars, workshops, moot court competitions, and practical learning events for students.

In addition to her academic duties, Dr. Joshi is dedicated to various social causes, actively involved in research supervision, and has been instrumental in driving student and faculty progression. Her work in law reform and advocacy continues to shape future legal professionals.
