About

I am an archaeologist with research and professional activity in Prehistory (Hunther-Gatherers and Lithic Technology), Museology, Cultural Heritage, Science Communication and Science Management. I hold a PhD (University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro) and a Master's degree in Prehistory (Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne) and I have a Science Communication Master (Nova University of Lisbon). I have 18 years of experience teaching undergraduate and master's courses at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar. Worked in the Prehistoric Art Museum of Mação engaging in Museology studies, Heritage Management and Science outreach activities. I have directed fieldwork in archaeological sites and acted as a scientific consultant for Portuguese and Spanish organizations in Prehistoric sites fieldwork. My publication record counts 1 book, 3 edited volumes, and more than 100 publications as first author or in collaboration (book chapters, articles with peer review, conference papers, and newspaper articles). I also have around 70 public presentations at National and International conferences, seminars and workshops. Currently, I am a Auxiliary Reseracher at Science and Technology Foundation (Portugal).
