About

Dr Suparna Naresh has been teaching Journalism & Mass Communication since 1991. She began her teaching career at her Alma Mater, Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, soon after getting her master’s degree from Bangalore University, and there has been no looking back since. Dr Suparna Naresh joined Christ University in 2008 and has been part of the Department of Media Studies ever since. Though an ardent teacher, she has other interests that include research, writing, and editing. Dr Naresh has 30 research papers to her credit, a book chapter in Springer, and two books that she has co-authored. She is an avid movie watcher with a special interest in Bollywood. Her PhD is in the domain of PR & Marketing. Dr Naresh offers courses in Journalism, Public Relations & Copywriting.
Besides her academic interests, she looks forward to reading, watching movies, spending time in quiet contemplation, and conversations.
