I am a physician, academician, and researcher specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). I completed my MBBS followed by an MD in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and my clinical and academic work is focused on improving function, independence, and quality of life in people with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

My areas of clinical and research interest include musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, pain management, musculoskeletal ultrasonography and ultrasound-guided interventions, electrodiagnostic medicine, osteoporosis and bone health, Robotic/AI/Virtual Reality based Rehabilitation (rehabilitation of persons with disabilities).

I am actively involved in clinical research, including observational studies, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. I have a particular interest in evidence-based rehabilitation, interventional rehabilitation, and the evaluation of emerging approaches that can improve rehabilitation outcomes.

Beyond clinical practice and research, I have a strong interest in medical education and the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in healthcare, research, and education. I am also founder of "Sensing Medicine", an initiative aimed at making scientific and evidence-based medical information more accessible to healthcare professionals, students, patients and the wider community.

My broader academic goal is to integrate clinical rehabilitation, research, technology, and medical education to contribute to practical and evidence-based improvements in patient care.
