Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, National Physical Laboratory of India
About
I hold a Ph.D. in Physics from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, with a research focus on the synthesis of 0-D, 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D nanomaterials (e.g., quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene, TMDs, hBN) and their composites for applications in supercapacitors, EMI shielding, field emission, and hydrogen production. I have published 25 research papers in reputed international journals, contributed three international book chapters, and hold two Indian patents (one granted). I’ve been part of several government-funded projects (UGC, MNRE, DST GOI). Following my Ph.D.. I worked as a CSIR-Research Associate at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, and later as an SERB National Postdoctoral Fellow at JNU, New Delhi. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Physics at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SGT University, Gurugram. My ongoing research focuses on the synthesis of 2D materials and their heterostructures, with applications in photodetectors, supercapacitors, and beyond.
