About
Dr. Niraj Kumar Jha is a member of the Royal Society of Biology, London. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. He is a former assistant professor of the Faculty of Biotechnology, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), India. He has an MSc in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamilnadu, India, and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University with a research fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. He is a well-acknowledged author and researcher who has published over 150 quality scholarly works including original research, reviews, and book chapters in prestigious international journals. He has also presented his research work at prestigious international conferences and annual meetings of professional scientific associations. Currently, he is serving as an associate editor of IET Nanobiotechnology (Wiley) and guest editor of numerous peer-reviewed and referred international journals of high impact and reputation including Material Today Chemistry, Frontiers in Bioscience-Landmark, Antioxidants, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, and Biomolecules. He is an editorial board member of various high-repute international journals and assisted significantly in reviewing articles from many international journals such as Scientific Reports, Life Sciences, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Journal of Food Biochemistry. His research interests include understanding the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative, cancer, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and deciphering the therapeutic and preventive role of small molecules of natural or synthetic origin.
