About
Dr. Siva Subrahmanyam Mendu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MVGR College of Engineering (Autonomous), Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, with over 21 years of teaching and research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer from IIT Kharagpur, M.Tech. in Energy Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University. He is also a Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Certified Energy Manager.
His research interests include Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Hybrid Energy Systems, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Non-Newtonian Fluid Flow, Heat Transfer, and Energy Conservation. He has published several research papers in reputed international journals and conferences and has successfully executed sponsored research projects funded by SERB, HPCL, and other agencies. He has also delivered invited lectures and organized faculty development programmes in the areas of thermofluids, CFD, and sustainable energy technologies.
