About
Dr Vivek Deshpande, holds Bachelors and Masters of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunications from Pune University and Doctorate from Nagpur University, India. He Has got 31 years of experience comprises of Industry and academia as well.
Dr Vivek worked in MIT & VIT, Pune as Professor and Head for Computer Engineering Department. Currently Dr Vivek is Director at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune.
Dr Vivek is doing his research in Wireless Sensor Networks, embedded systems, IoT, Industry 4.0, High-Performance Computer Networks and AI Machine learning as well. Dr Vivek pursued his Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship from Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, Europe. He published more than 70 papers in international journals and conferences of repute. He filed 24 Indian patents, and all are published now. Dr Vivek is working on many research projects which tackles more social and industrial problems.
Dr Vivek is Senior member of IEEE, Pune Section (R10, India). He chairs Education Society and Industry Relations for Pune Chapter. Currently he is a Chair of conference committee of Pune Chapter. Dr Vivek is also active member of the IP Lab, where industry automation is collaborated with Artificial intelligence and machine learning technology.
