About
Dr. Ankit KUMAR (He/Him)
His primary research objectives within fundamental organic chemistry center on asymmetric catalysis, transition-metal catalysis, and the elucidation of reaction mechanisms. Specifically, focuses on pioneering novel catalytic paradigms, including chiral organometallic, cascade, synergistic, and photoredox catalysis. Additionally, he specializes in developing diverse metal- and non-metal-mediated synthetic methodologies with target applications in pharmaceutical synthesis.
By harnessing unique cooperative effects within organic frameworks, his research aims to design and engineer novel catalytic systems while simultaneously establishing a rigorous mechanistic understanding of the underlying chemical processes.
