About
Md. Shafiqul Islam obtained his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics in 2009 and Master of Science (Thesis Group) in Mathematics in 2010 from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. As part of the requirements for his M.Sc. degree, he completed a thesis entitled “A Numerical Experiment on Burger’s Equation.” He previously completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) examination in 2004 from Dohar Nawabgonj College and his Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) examination in 2002 from Bandura Holy Cross School and College, Dhaka.
Md. Shafiqul Islam is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at a private university in Bangladesh. He has authored and co-authored numerous research articles published in both national and international journals with notable impact factors. His primary research interests include Numerical Linear Algebra, Model Order Reduction, Mathematical Modelling, Numerical Methods, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
