About
I did my B. Sc Biotechnology from CCS university Meerut, India in 2011. I obtained my M.Sc in Biotechnology from Lucknow University, India (2013), During my Master research, I worked on Thermotolerant Peroxidases. I obtained my PhD from National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), New Delhi in 2019. During my PhD, I worked with Dr Alok K. Sinha, on role of Plant MAP kinases signaling in the regulation of microRNA biogenesis, Suhar signalling and ABA signaling. Later I joined Prof Ari Sadanandom's lab in Durham University, UK, in 2021. Till I am working on SUMOylation in plants. My aim is to understand the role of SUMOylation during plant development and stress (Abiotic and biotic).
My Future research interests are Climate resilient crop, elevated temperature response!
