About
Postdoctoral researcher at Anatomy and Neuroscience department, University College Cork. I'm currently studying lifestyle interventions to prevent cognitive impairments in subjects with depressive symptoms. I defended my Ph.D. thesis on 6th November, 2025 at Pharmacology & Toxicology Laboratory (CSIR-IHBT), Palampur, India. My work was about treatment-resistant epilepsy and associated comorbidities like depression and cognitive impairment. To carry out this work, I used zebrafish, rats and mice model to screen the dietary intervention.
I did a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh (2018). My master's thesis was about treatment intervention through glycine transporter inhibitor-1 in a ketamine induced schizophrenia like symptoms.
