About
As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Geology at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, I am passionate about understanding the hydrogeochemical and geochemical evolution of Earth’s resources and environmental systems. With a background as a professional aqueous and environmental geochemist, my expertise spans hydrogeochemistry, groundwater quality assessment, sediment-water interaction, and environmental remediation of mining-affected sites. My research group focuses on integrating fundamental geochemical and hydrogeological principles with practical solutions for sustainable resource development, water security, and environmental management in the energy and mining sectors. I am always open to collaborating with industry partners and mentoring motivated PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
