About
I am currently working as Assistant Professor cum Junior Scientist at Division of Plant Biotechnology, Faculty of Horticulture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Shalimar, Kashmir, India. My major focused research interest lies in plant metabolomics, transcriptomics, expression profiling, genetic diversity and plant tissue culture. I am also interested in stress physiology of plants (biotic/abiotic), extraction, purification and bioactivities of secondary metabolites, signaling pathways involved in plants, Phytoremediation, and genetic variability among plant pathogens. Further, I am aiming to work towards modern interventions for cultivation and enhanced production of economically important crops & medicinal plants for sustainable livelihood & to increase farmers income via translational research.
