S.Sasikumar received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1996. His career profession was started by joining as lecturer at PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul. He received his M.E. degree in Applied Electronics from Bharathidasan University in the year of 2000. He received his Ph.D. degree in the area of Information and Communication Engineering titled as “Detection and Estimation of Quantum based Orthogonal Receiver system” in the year of 2009 from Anna University, Chennai. Presently, he is working as Professor, Department of ECE, RMD Engineering college, Chennai, India. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experience. His experience in various places of India includes PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, Roever College of Engineering and Technology, Roever Engineering College, Jayaram College of Engineering and Technology. He has published twenty research papers in international journals and one national journal. He has presented and published more than twelve research papers in international conferences and twenty national conferences. He has published two book chapters in International level and published six books for beneficiary of students at Anna University affiliated colleges. His area of interests include VLSI design, signal processing, Image processing and applications of wavelets in image analysis. He is a life member of ISTE, IETE, IE (India), senior member of IACSIT, IAENG, IEEE, IET, CSTA, SCIEI, IOSC, BES(India), EMC(India), PSI(India), SSI(India) and SS(I). He is an active reviewer, Editorial Board member, advisory board for many reputed journals include ACTA press, IET signal processing, WSEAS signal processing, IJET, BORJ journals, IJCIIS, AJSIR, IJEAT,IJSER, JETEAS,IJETAE,IJCA,IJET,CSC journals etc. He has received many awards such as young teacher award and K.B.S award from IET, Best Educationist award from IIEM, New Delhi, Eminent Educationist award from NIC, New Delhi, Rashtriya Vidhya Samman Puraskar from EGSI, New Delhi. His Biography was published in Marquis who’s who in the world from Who’s who in America, 28th edition, 2011. He has participated nearly twenty technical programs and organized nearly fifteen technical programs include conference, seminar, STTP, SDP etc.
