About
As a teacher and researcher in pharmaceutical sciences with over 14 years of academic experience, I am committed to excel in pharmaceutical education, research, postgraduate mentorship, and scholarly engagement. My research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to drug discovery and development, integrating medicinal chemistry, computational approaches, synthetic chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and advanced bioanalytical techniques for the design, investigation, and evaluation of biologically active molecules.
My research contributions have been published in national and international peer-reviewed journals. I have also served as a peer reviewer for journals published by leading academic publishers, including Springer Nature, Elsevier, Wiley, and PLOS ONE, contributing to the evaluation and advancement of scientific research. I have filed two patents, including one granted patent, and have authored books and contributed chapters published by international publishers including Springer Nature, De Gruyter, Taylor & Francis, and Elsevier.
I have supervised postgraduate research projects and presented research findings at national and international scientific conferences. I have received travel support to participate in the International Conference on Pure and Applied Chemistry (ICPAC-2018), Mauritius, and the International Conference on Carbon Capture and Its Utilization at CSIR-NCL, Pune. Currently associated with MET’s Institute of Pharmacy, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik, Maharashtra, India, I remain actively engaged in teaching, research, scientific writing, peer review, and academic mentorship.
My professional interests are directed toward advancing pharmaceutical research through interdisciplinary and translational approaches, with an emphasis on scientifically rigorous drug discovery, pharmaceutical analysis, and bioanalytical research. I am a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and a registered pharmacist with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
