About
Dr. Hemayet Hossain is a veterinarian, academic, and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Teesta University. He holds a DVM and MS in Anatomy from Sylhet Agricultural University and an MSc in Microbiology from Gono Bishwabidyalay. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic diseases, One Health, veterinary microbiology, and public health. Dr. Hossain has published more than 55 peer-reviewed articles in international journals and has experience in molecular diagnostics, microbiology, and epidemiological research. He also serves as an Editor and reviewer for several international scientific peer reviewed journals.
