About

Currently I'm working as an assistant professor of economics at GIBS Business School, Bengaluru. Previously, I worked as an assistant professor of economics at JAIN Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, and KL Deemed to be University, Vijayawada, for more than four and a half years. I did my UG in B.Sc. (Agri.) at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (KA), and later I pursued my M.Sc. and Ph.D. in agricultural economics at Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur (M.P.). I have qualified for the ICAR/ASRB NET in agricultural economics and also KSET in economics. I have published more than 24 research papers, books and book chapters in some of the reputed national and international journals which are Scopus/Web of Science/ABDC-indexed. I have also presented and participated in many national/international conferences, seminars, workshops and training programmes. I have also undergone some software training programs in r software, SPSS, python, EViews, Stata, microsoft office, etc. My area of research includes applied economics, specialising in agricultural economics, rural development, agricultural marketing, sustainability, and business analytics using quantitative empirical methods.
