Akshay is an experienced researcher & project leader and holds a PhD & Diplôme d’Ingénieur in Material processing & Industrial Energy systems. He is participating to higher energy efficiency & zero CO2 efforts at ArcelorMittal via his current role as Energy Program Leader at Maizières Process Global R&D. He enjoys working with numerical models & experimental analyses of energy systems, leading to many breakthrough innovations. His current research interests include very high temperature waste heat recovery, storage & reintegration, open innovation management & use of creativity techniques in industrial R&D.
