Dr. Mahesh Chandra received B.Sc. from Agra University, Agra, India in 1990 and A.M.I.E. from I.E.I., Kolkatta, India in 1994. He received M.Tech. from J.N.T.U., Hyderabad in 2000 and Ph.D. from AMU, Aligarh in 2008. He worked as HOD in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at S.R.M.S. College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly from August 2002 to June 2005. He has served as faculty from July 2005 to January 2020 in Electronics & Communication Engineering Department Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra Ranchi. Presently, he is working as Professor School of Electronics & Communication Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru. His areas of interest are Feature Selection from audio signal, Audio Signal Processing, Human Computer Interaction & Machine Learning. He has delivered several keynotes talks and chaired many sessions at National/ International levels. He has completed one consortium project in 2018 from MEITY on “Speech based access of agricultural commodity prices and weather information in 12 Indian Languages, Dialects”. He has organized one National conference, one International conference and three short term courses at BIT, Mesra, Ranchi.
