About
I am a faculty scientist at the UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research in Indore, where I lead an ultrafast photonics group. I specialize in high-power lasers and nonlinear optics, with extensive experience working in state-of-the-art laser facilities and laboratories around the world.
My current research interests:
• Ultrafast Spectroscopy and Ultrafast Imaging
• 2D Materials (ferroelectric, multiferroic, lead-free Photovoltaic materials)
• 2D materials engineering for single-photon Quantum emitters
• Nonlinear optics, Raman Spectroscopy, Exciton Physics
My most significant research studies in the Past:
• Development of compact, ultrashort (few-cycle pulses) high-average power laser system
• Pulse Post-Compression techniques, Multi-pass cell based nonlinear spectral broadening techniques
• Femtosecond laser damage and laser damage resistance (LIDT) of critical PW/multi-PW class optical coatings
• Contamination issues in high-power lasers development, Contamination characterization methods
and Contamination mitigation strategies
• Ultra-high vacuum technologies and outgassing properties for ultrahigh vacuum
• Optical coatings and coating designs for large scale-high power laser facilities (100 TW to 10 PW)
