I am a Remote Sensing & GIS Specialist cum Hydrologist & Geologist having doctorate degree in Earth Sciences with 32 years of work experience (research & development, academic, supervisory and managerial/administrative roles) in the fields of Geology, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Remote Sensing & GIS, involving mainly application of GIS and Remote Sensing (Earth Observation) technologies in studying natural resources and water resources management. My areas of specialisations are: Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Remote Sensing, GIS, and Mineral Exploration.
I have experience in applying Remote Sensing technology in the fields of mapping geology, mineral resources, rock types, surface deformation, geomorophology, soil, land use/land cover, wastelands, forests and water resources studies (hydrogeology & hydrogeomorphology, drainage network mapping, watershed morphometry, mapping of wetlands, floods etc.).
I am very keen to undertake challenging top Management / Executive / Academic level roles and also to manage / undertake research projects aimed at understanding the natural resources, natural hazards and their management using Remote Sensing & GIS through investigations on geology, hydrology, mineral potential, geohazards, surface deformation, land use/land cover, resource constraints, environmental impacts, ecology, forests etc.
