Dr. Anjani Kumar currently working as Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist at the Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi. He does research in the field of rice breeding for abiotic stresses such as the development of drought-tolerant rice variety. Dr. Anjani has also worked on the medicinal plant (Selaginella bryopteris) for gene expression profiling. His areas of interest include molecular biology techniques like DNA extraction, RNA extraction, Plasmid isolation, and Gene expression analysis.
