About

As part of my postdoctoral studies, I focus on the construction of 2D and 3D covalent organic frameworks (COFs) using diverse organic scaffolds. The synthesized materials are aimed at applications in visible-light communications, X-ray scintillators, and energy storage systems, including organic and metal-ion batteries.

Previously, during my Ph.D. research, I specialized in the design and synthesis of organic building blocks to access 3D luminescent metal-organic frameworks (LMOFs) and 2D metal-organic nanosheets (LMONs). My research encompassed a broad spectrum of applications, including analyte sensing, temperature-dependent emission, dye molecule adsorption, and fluorescence-based aggregation studies.

In my master’s thesis, I worked on the synthesis of nanostructured reduced graphene oxide (RGO) via Hummer's method and its composite with titanium dioxide, which was utilized as a negative electrode additive for advanced lead-acid batteries.
