Avinash Samantra (Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Parala Maharaja Engineering College, Luhajhara, India, in 2015, and the M.Tech. degree in Computer Science from Berhampur University, Berhampur, India, in 2018. He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Rourkela, India, in 2026. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Centre for Data Science, Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan (SOA), where he supervises B.Tech. and M.Tech. students. His research interests include natural language processing, recommender systems, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary applications in water quality, law, management, and healthcare.
