About

Hi! I'm an Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Sciences (Mathematics) at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar 751024, Odisha. Before coming to KIIT, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Chandigarh University, Mohali 140413, Punjab.
I received my M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, India, in 2015, and my Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics and Computing from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India, in 2022. I have Qualified the CSIR NET-JRF exam with all India Rank of 61 and also qualified GATE with all India Rank of 143.
I'm mainly interested in the field of Orbital Mechanics and focused on developing the space trajectory design using a planetary flyby and numerical optimization methods. I have included some notable optimization algorithms like Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization, and Differential Evolution Algorithm in my research work to optimize the space trajectories. I'm very confident in Python programming and also have a good knowledge of MATLAB, MATHEMATICA, LaTeX, and Fortran.
