About
Laura Beatrice Mattioli is a research fellow at the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, University of Bologna. She holds degrees in Nutritional Biology and Pharmacy, and obtained her PhD in Health, Safety and Green Systems (scientific-disciplinary sector CHIM/10). Her research focuses on food chemistry and nutraceuticals, with a particular interest in bioactive compounds of natural origin and their effects on intestinal and cardiovascular function.
She has carried out research abroad at Nova Southeastern University (Florida, USA) and Aix-Marseille Université (France), investigating the role of nutraceuticals in inflammatory and metabolic models.
