About

Dr. Amarpal Singh Bhadauriya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology
at RTM Nagpur University. He has over 10 years of research experience in the fields of life
science and entomology.
• Vector and Pest Identification: Dr. Bhadauriya is an expert in identifying vector
species such as anopheline and culicine mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and sand flies. He is
also skilled in insect pest management.
• Vector-Borne Diseases: His experience includes investigating outbreaks of diseases
like dengue, chikungunya, malaria, Japanese Encephalitis, and scrub typhus. He also
prepared a training module on tick, mite, and flea-borne diseases.
• Entomological Skills: He has expertise in insect rearing, toxicological studies, and
vector bionomics. His scientific skills also include DNA/RNA isolation, basic
molecular biology, and biochemical analysis.
• Data Analysis: He is proficient in using software like Excel, SPSS, and MINITAB for
the analysis and interpretation of research results.
• Assistant Professor (January 2020 - Present): Teaches cell and molecular biology,
ecology, entomology, and invertebrates at Shankar Lal Agrawal Science College,
which is affiliated with RTM Nagpur University.
• Assistant Director (July 2017 - December 2019): Worked at the National Centre for
Disease Control in Delhi, where he investigated outbreaks of vector-borne diseases and
conducted World Health Organization-funded training sessions.
• Senior Research Fellow (2014-2017): Held two separate roles at the Indian
Agricultural Research Institute in New Delhi, working on projects related to the genetic
diversity of Chilo partellus and the impact of neonicotinoids on pollinators.
• Lecturer (July 2011 - June 2014): Taught various subjects, including cell biology,
molecular biology, and ecology, at Maharishi Daynand Mahavidhyalay.
• Education: He holds a Ph.D. in Zoology-Entomology from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

2022 nomination, the Best Researcher Award in 2022, and multiple Young Scientist
Awards for his contributions to entomology and medical entomology.
• Publications: Dr. Bhadauriya has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed
publications and conference abstracts. He has also published several books on topics
such as zoology, molecular biology, and entomology.
