Dr. C. L. Yadav an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He has been an Assistant Professor of Law (Gujarat Maritime Board Chair in Maritime Law, Policies and Practices, Government of Gujarat) at Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar and a Research Associate (Maritime Law) under the fellowship of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India at Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. Dr Yadav’s academic contributions include Teaching, Research, Conducting and Coordinating Training programmes in the area of the Law of the Sea and Maritime Laws. He has published research papers in peer-reviewed, refereed Journals that are recognised by SCOPUS, Web of Science, the database UGC Care list and a book chapter. He is an alumnus of prestigious Central Universities of India, including (B.A.) from the University of Allahabad (A.U.) Allahabad; LL.B. (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU); LL.M. in Maritime Law from Indian Maritime University, Chennai (IMU); and Doctoral Research (PhD) from Central University of Gujarat (CUG) India. He is a recipient of the prestigious IFLOS Fellowship for the IFLOS Summer Academy in 2016. He was certified by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, Hamburg, Germany, to complete a course on International Law of the Sea and Maritime Law.
As a recognized professional, he is a Life Member and Associate Member with various professional and academic organizations/bodies, such as a Life Member of the International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), New Delhi, India; Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), New Delhi, India; ‘Academies A Discussion Group Varanasi, Law School, Banaras Hindu University’, (A Central University, Government of India) Varanasi, India; and All India Law Teacher Congress, (AILTC) New Delhi. Editorial Board Member of Nirma University Law Journal (NULJ) and advisory Board Member of Lucknow Law Review (LLR).
