About

My research focuses on the development and spectroscopic analysis of luminescent glasses doped with rare
earth ions for advanced photonic applications. I have conducted extensive investigations into glass systems
activated by Sm3+, Dy3+, Ho3+, and Nd3+, synthesized via the melt quenching technique. This research
encompasses structural characterization using XRD, SEM-EDAX, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy, alongside
comprehensive optical evaluations through absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The Judd–Ofelt
theory is employed to determine intensity parameters, radiative properties, and emission cross sections. The
objective of this work is to optimize concentration-dependent luminescence properties for applications in
solid-state lasers, white LEDs, near-infrared emission, and the advancement of photonic devices.
